The Musician Husband refers to these as 'Feed Me Seymours.' We came across them in the supermarket today - they're apparently called Choyote and have a 'smooth taste'. No further information offered other than they're nice in salads. I have no idea if they're fruits or veggies.
Our breadmaking has improved enormously since the Musician Husband took over. We mostly use a breadmaker and the results are pretty good although sometimes we get a muffin top.
The sourdough below looked amazing and tasted amazing but the butter fell through the holes.
When I was swimming last year (almost every night or morning) I was lucky enough to have a packed lunch/breakfast made for me by the Musician Husband. He's pretty amazing to be honest.
He regularly packed me a little bag with sandwiches, a banana and some fruit juice. As time went on and my swim in Loch Ness loomed closer, the sarnies took on a curious water-related theme. First were the kissing fish, then the scary shark and after several more types of trouty looking offerings, the truly inspired apple-crab. Very cutely, they're either jam or peanut butter sandwiches. I felt like I was 7 years old again, trotting off to the baths with my swimming float, towel and sarnies in a little rucksack.
Even though we're in the depths of winter now, I still enjoy a little bit of fish with wine...
